This year's themes are animal and earth mysteries in sacred story and in the real world, with an emphasis on Native American and indigenous scholarship.  The conference features panels, workshops, poster session, and films. Keynote presenters for the event: 

• Dr. Elizabeth Wayland Barber:  "Waterbirds, Water, Women and Place in Archaic European Lore" 
• Dr. Gala Argent:  “Horses and Heroes, Horses as Heroes in Eurasian Poetry and Archaeology”
• Sherri Mitchell (Penobscot) human rights attorney, Executive Director of Land Peace Foundation for indigenous land rights and environmental justice)
