Join us for the 2020 W&R Pacific Central District Retreat

March 5 – 8, 2020

at the Enchanted Hills Retreat Center in the hills above Napa, California.

Our Women and Religion group is planning our 2020 retreat at Enchanted Hills Camp and we’d love to have you join us. Now that Enchanted Hills Camp has repaired the extensive damage from the wildfire that devastated the North Bay in 2017, they are up and running full steam and are delighted to have us return to their camp for our annual retreat.

Our retreat starts at 5pm on Thursday, March 5, and runs through Sunday March 8, at 1pm. There will be workshops, opportunities for down time, great meals, comfy accommodations, and the company of intelligent, interesting (mostly UU) women. In keeping with our theme “Navigating Passages”, we are reading Pachinko, by Min Jin Lee, and there will be a “book club” session at the retreat to talk about it.

You may pay either via PayPal or by sending a check. If paying by check, make it payable to W&R – PCD and send to Beverly Morgan, UUFRC, 2124 Brewster Ave., Redwood City, CA 94403.

Now that Enchanted Hills Camp has rebuilt most of their facilities, they have raised their prices to be closer to market rates, so we need to raise our prices too. We have been lucky to have been able to keep the prices the same for over 7 years, but now they are going up by 17%. It’s still a remarkably good deal for an all-expenses-paid weekend. Prices are as follows:

3 nights + 9 meals (Thursday dinner thru Sunday lunch) = $350; if paid by February 1st, deduct $30 and pay $320
2 nights + 7 meals (Friday lunch thru Sunday lunch) = $290; if paid by February 1st, deduct $30 and pay $260
Saturday only (3 meals) = $60

If you know any women who have never joined us and would enjoy this retreat, please share this information. We will deduct $50 from the 2-night and 3-night prices for first-timers.
